It's pretty clear that the big problem in the near future for the US will be China not Russia.
China's economy is growing and will be a very difficult competitor in a few years.
Does the US really want to take on a war in Eastern Europe?
It seems like it dilutes US overall strength.
What makes Russia our foe and Ukraine our ally. We have little involvement
with either country. Eastern Europe is Europe's concern.
Even putting great restrictions on Russia has its downside.
Suppose we restrict computer chip going to Russia.
They will be forced to get chips from China and that will bring China and Russia closer together.
If China and Russia become close allies, it going to make it very difficult for the US.
