SpaceX has already launched a Bigalow inflatable spacer habitat. Bigalow has been working on these for more than a decade now. Basically, use a SpaceX BFR(Big Falcon Rocket) to launch some Bigalow inflatables to the Moon, and you have a Moonbase.
