I don't buy conspiracy theory. Not because I don't believe they can happen and not because I don't think people are capable of trying to misguide a large population of people. I generally don't buy them because in order for most to be true, a large amount of people must be involved without anything ever getting leaked. I just don't see it happening. At some point, someone will slip up or morality/ethics/religion will tempt someone to do "the right thing" and the cat is out of the bag.
While I'm not a "conspiracy theorist" by any stretch, many things that would be considered "conspiracies" certainly exist. Our nation was founded by freemasons, for example. Secret societies have been around for literally thousands of years. look at the self-perpetuating aristocracies, even the American "bluebloods" Their insider trading, favors, and political machinations certainly fit the definition of conspiracy. While I don't personally subscribe to any of the "government has alien craft" conspiracies, I have no issue believing it is possible for the government to pull off something like that -- the number of people isn't too large, and certainly a fair number of people with at least ssome credibility have "come forward" and been just ignored or ridiculed. The whole "tinfoil hat" attitude toward people who claim a conspiracy certainly discourages coming forward and limits it's effectiveness. It would take more than just one person coming forward about a conspiracy at this point for anyone to believe them. It would be to many people, even the most noble, a pointless and self destructive move to do it.And if a conspiracy on the level of certain movies did exist, self preservation would come into play as well.Where I don't see conspiracies as possible is something like the Sandy Hook thing someone here is pushing -- that would require a large number of otherwise unrelated actors to cooperate. OTOH while I certainly don't believe in the 9/11 "truthers", something like what they claim could certainly and easily be pulled off and kept secret. But I don't buy that it DID happen, because, generally, the simplest solution is the accurate one.
"while I certainly don't believe in the 9/11 "truthers", something like what they claim could certainly and easily be pulled off and kept secret"The problem with that is scale. It would have taken hundreds of conspirators at least. You may be able to keep four or five, a dozen people quiet, but hundreds if not thousands? Ain't happening. And with the small group you can keep an eye on them. If one of them starts getting shaky he can be silenced. But with the larger group you need a whole new group to watch them. The conspiracy just grows larger and harder to contain. Vince Foster commits suicide? Barely noticed. The doctor who did the Kennedy autopsy suddenly dies of a heart attack? No one bats an eye. But if you've got to start killing dozens of loose lips, you've got a big problem. And one of them is likely to slip through.Which brings up the next problem, conscience. Four guys rob a bank and they shoot a guard. They'll keep their mouths shut because they're facing time. But the guy who blows the whistle on something like this is a national hero. Someone is going to talk. Someone isn't going to be able to live with murdering thousands of people. And where do you even recruit people like that? Do you say to them we've got a job for you where thousands of people will die? Who's going to say yes to that? And if they say no, you've got to kill them. Lots of them. And if you don't tell them the consequences it's even worse, when they what has been wrought by their hand. I strongly disagree with your premises, a murderous conspiracy on that scale just isn't feasible.
your observation is a correct one. However, if all the conspirators had kept their silence we wouldn't be speaking about this presently. Some have spoken out anonymously, and in a capacity they were able, so as to keep their identity out of the public eye for fear of reprisals. Some people (albeit few) have put their lips to the whistle. Remember though that people have freewill and do have a change of heart sometimes. People do suffer crisis of conscience. Unfortunately when these try to turn coat they are usually marked as a "rat" not to be trusted, since they were once involved with the very thing they are now attempting to expose. Then the cabal of conspirators takes the moral high ground allowing dissident's to be discredited as "conspiracy theory lunatics" etc. or if there is only a few they may choose to simply silence the defector(s). Think about what you could accomplish if money was not an issue? If you had total control of most media outlets and strong influence on the others. If the conspiracy you were trying to run was generations old. The conspiracy doesn't involve monetary gain because you already print your own. The conspiracy is based upon a ...well here. Let me allow President Kennedy explain it to you.
http://www.michaeljournal.org/kennedy.htm "Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment."
One world government is a goal of the elites. I know it is true ...but you may ask...even if it is true why would they want that? The concept is not from their mind. It is not what they want specifically rather it is what he wants who gives to them riches, power, prestige, and prominence. Their personal leader has provided instructions how the world is to proceed forward through his surrogates (witches/ warlocks/ spirit mediums) and from them it is revealed to the movers and shakers in the world (political/ industry/ finance/ education/ religion and media) Who is intelligent enough and who could live long enough to orchestrate such an undertaking. Why, the prince of darkness you silly agnostic. Too bad for them whom he has blinded for they have NO CHANCE. Even for the folks that have a chance it is but a slim one. Jesus said...without me you cannot do a single thing. Because Jesus is the only power that can withstand the machinations of Satan and his angels. Truth is revealed through Holy Spirit. I am telling you the truth today.
