First proof of quantum computer advantage

Earlier this year, I think it was IBM demontrated a 50 Qbit quantum computer which they considered the point of quantum supremecy. But, others said the point of quantum supremecy is a bit more vague. They also noted that the number of quantum bits should double every nine months of so(there's a Quantum Annealing technology from DWave that has been doubling the number of quantum bits for more than a few years now. Last time I heard they were up to 2000 Qbits; but this is a special purpose quantum computer, not a general purpose programmable computer).

Well, this article is saying they've got a deductive proof for quantum supremecy with experimental data to back it up.
