The party platforms of the Dems and GOP evolved into their current ideologies but not long ago it was the conservatives who were Democrats and the party of small government.

Yet all it would take is one fucking class on American History to discover how fucking stupid you are... go read about the Dixiecrats as well and their racist views during the Civil rights movement of the 60s. They all switched over to the GOP and cemented the South as 100% Republican.
