Ok guys, I just saw this thread and wanted to clear some mis information up that you are seeing in the media. I'm a family friend of the victim. 1) there was popcorn thrown. It was from the back of the theatre from another movie goer telling them both to sit down once it began escalating.2 chad wasn't texting, he was reading sports on his phone from the corner of his thigh during previews3 the first interaction was the old man telling him to put his F@&$ing phone away. Chad is hot headed and told the guy to go f himself.Just wanted to clear that up.

For sure, Nicole had her ring finger shot off when the gun discharged, needs a couple procedures to get it back to being right. She is going to make the media rounds soon because the defense is going to pull out all stops to character assassinate chad. Killers wife sat there motionless from start to finish even after the cops drug him out. Blank look giving the impression that (pure speculation here) that she is either abused or just given up. Could have been shock. She never spoke a single word from beginning to end. Just weird!
I was in a theater once when my friend threw his popcorn at a girl sitting near us. We were 15. The cop panicked and is done for, the guy who threw the popcorn sounds like a **CENSORED**.
Apparently the shooter has done the same thing before to others. A couple came forward and had an incident with the old man recently at the same theater.Any gun toting person care to address the issue of an old and senile person packing heat?

I wonder if this has always been a problem, just with 24 hour news , Internet Ect that's it's just magnified. I am very pro gun, just need better controls in place for crazies.. Not smart enough to have a solution for that.

Just to note the Theater has a sign and a policy of being a "Gun Free Zone". It is also on private property so this guy should have left his gun in his vehicle or at home...OBD

Huh? You go up to a former naval petty officer whom is 6"5 during previews of a movie ( cell phone appropriate time) and tell him to stop f$&@ink texting and expect him to stand down? Or say "" yes sir"" ? Maybe I misunderstood your post because that is not how most would react.
