""There is absolutely no reason that this should have escalated to the level that it did, especially as quickly as it did," the attorney told "Good Morning America."71 year old men routinely engage 43 year old men . . . . . . yeah, having a gun is his pocket played no role
If the victim, instead of making a scene, swallowed his pride and simply put his phone away, does the gun come into the equation? This is how I know you're a liberal regardless of what you claim. Liberals always ignore accountability. Your posts imply that his reaction to being told to stop texting was rational and completely justified. If he had swallowed his pride, he'd still be alive, just as Trayvon would be if he had simply gone home. Asking someone to stop texting doesn't make you the aggressor, just as leaving his vehicle didn't make Zimmerman the aggressor. If only the theater had a ban on guns, all of this would have been avoided.

Coming face to face with an ex Navy 6 ft 5 hothead had nothing to do with it?Now I am not going to try and defend this guy and say what he did was right, but at the same time I am not going to throw insipid statements out like candy on Halloween.I am nearly 50 and would quite happily take on a lot of kids in their 20's. Well, happily might not be the right turn of phrase, but I am in reasonable shape and do martial arts. My friends father in law also does TKD and did not start until his mid 60's. He is now something stupid like #5 in the world for his age group and could quite easily kick my ass all over the room. My point is age is not necessarily a factor.

Hahahaha! You are precious.
I've been in movies where people who were texting during the previews did so throughout the movie as well. It's highly annoying. I don't know if this guy was going to continue doing it, but there are better ways to handle being asked to stop than getting into a heated discussion. That tells me the guy texting is the type who doesn't like anyone telling him what to do, even though what he was doing can be viewed as inconsiderate to a lot of people. Basically, he was looking for a conflict and he got one. The retired cop clearly shouldn't have shot him, I'm not defending that action but the victim wasn't entirely blameless, that's all I'm saying. Vin likes to try and convince people someone was dying that day no matter what happened, simply because a gun was in the theater. It was unavoidable. Right Vinny?
