Shifty Dancer: "what was the counter? did someone post that the gun was not the proximate cause, because I would love to read that argument? What was then?"Pointing it at someone and pulling the trigger.
"Put a specific proposal on the table, so the whole forum can finally see exactly what you want on the subject of gun control."He'll dance Swan Lake if he needs to, but you wont pin Shifty Dancer down.
lol . .. you guys are just game players, which is odd if you think about it, its as if you think the game playing doesn't answer the question? I don't get that, if you were on the right side of logic there would be simple responses. There are never simple response from you pro-gun guys, so I am perfectly content to post the information I do and take your responses as they come. Here you go . . . simple logic illustrated by a question that you guys can all run from (again):IF NOT THE GUN, then what was the proximate cause of the death?

if it was a water pistol no one dies . its not the pointing and its not the pulling of a trigger, its the presence of the firearm . .the firearm is the proximate cause . . if the 71 year old doesn't have a firearm, no one dies. Substitute "proximate cause" with "but for" and you'll get the point (even if you don't admit it). Thanks for at least trying though.
"An act from which an injury results as a natural, direct, uninterrupted consequence and without which the injury would not have occurred."A gun is not an act, Shifty Dancer. Pointing it at someone and pulling the trigger is. The Counselor is being outlawyered by anonymous people on the internet.
