Getting A Return On Foreign Aid

As Trump meets with leaders of other countries, to whom the US gives aid, he asks,

Where do you buy your airliners and military supplies from?

And to those who buy elsewhere, he says, you should buy in the US.

It's the threat of reducing their aid money from the US, if they don't buy US products.

So US workers eg., Boeing, etc will benefit.

For how many years has the US given aid to Countries who use our money to buy elsewhere?
