This one is hard to understand because the GOP Senate(using McConnell as the rep) has already mocked Trump for his personal views on CV AND now its warning TRUMP to not enter into a deal with Pelosi, giving Pelosi all the high ground and setting up a big talking point for Dem Senate challengers.

In other words, McConnell thinks its in the interest of the GOP to REFUSE any deal, to, in essence, abandon the President's last ditch effort to save himself?
