I hate that argument and don't adopt it, but wow has TRUMP has given a nuclear weapon to those who say as much.

Trump tried to avoid the subpoena in the Manhattan DA investigation OVER ALLEGED ILLEGAL HUSH MONEY payments before he became President (during campaign) and he was absolutely crushed by the SCOTUS because he made a bogus argument that he was "absolutely immune" from a criminal subpoena, something rejected hundreds of years ago.
He's now back in court and he objecting AGAIN, which is okay at one level, but he's also SUPPOSEDLY making these objections:
"The Trump court filing said he is likely to claim that the subpoena is too broad, is motivated by a desire to harass, is meant to manipulate his policy decisions or retaliate against him for official acts, and would impede his ability to carry out his duties. They also say they'll need to know more about "the nature and the scope" of the investigation so they can evaluate whether the grand jury needs everything it's requesting."
2 of those are already settled and the other is absurd on its face
SO . . . THE INESCAPABLE CONCLUSION IS THAT THE MANHATTAN DA IS CORRECT AND ON TO HIM.
