The Live PD camera crew was there over the objection of the local prosecutor because Live PD wouldn’t agree to turn over footage IF NEEDED for an event just like this.
Keep that key fact in mind.
The arresting officers are investigated by OTHER COPS who clear them with no disclosure of the evidence they considered
Live PD .... destroys ... yes destroys it’s video saying that the investigation is over
The Sheriff is now accused of obstructing the investigation of his two deputies by other cops
The Sheriff never turned over the dash cams even though they capture the event
So, essentially, the sheriffs department and Live PD (who would never get police departments to agree to the recording without some agreement that they wouldn’t turn over the video) basically fucked over the family of the deceased ... like he was trash ... to protect the cops and to protect the commercial interest of A&E
