I was thinking this thing out, and I have this hunch that Putin is going to One Up Obama, and offer Iraq Military Assistance to Iraq. The offer alone would instantly marginalize Obama (here) and make Putin look like a hero.(in Russia) It's classic Putin. It would also make it look like if we did help, it's because Putin forced obamas hand. Triple win for Putin.
