Isaac Asimov's Foundation to become a T.V. series

Lot's of people have wanted Isaac Asimov's Foundation as a movie(surprising in itself), and lots of directors have said they're going to do it. The most famous was Roland Emmerich(Stargate, amongst other crazy movies. His global warming movie was actually kindof good), before Mr Emmerich, there was Shekhar Kapur who made the Elizabeth movies, the last famous one was the Interstellar movie director.

As you can see above, the movie is officially in the works.
