The amount we talk about gun laws >>>>>>>>>>>>>> the amount we make meaningful changes to gun laws.
We? It's one schmuck that has made dozens of threads because he's butthurt.

a childhood friend and big gun owner and advocate:"I have a lot of guns. A lot. But I am shocked that while in ____ my Dad was able to buy a gun and walk out with it within 30 minutes (he has a carry concealed license). All responsible gun owners should require stricter gun laws because if we don't police the laws then the laws will be adjucated for us. There are dramatically more parents in the US then there are gun owners. I believe licenship should require courses covering laws, performace (targeting), cleaning and time at a hospital to see the results of just one mistake. But make no mistake, if society does not see a responsible effort from the gun community to prove to weapon phobic co-citizens then each school or mass shooting will be the harbinger of a change that we as gun enthusiasts will not like and it will be our fault. And yes I know that Adam Lanzas mother was reckless but if there were required trigger locks there may not have been an issue...looney or not. We have a responsibility when we can so easily take a life."lol . . . he wouldn't fit in at the Cove
