There's a story today about a hacker busted for selling data on 186 million US voters
This is what the cybersecurity company that found the sale says:
""In the wrong hands, this voter and consumer data can easily be used for geotargeted disinformation campaigns over social media, email phishing and text and phone scams," he added, "before, during and after the election, especially if results are contested."
Its now undisputed, according to a GOP-led committee report, that this is precisely why Manafort provided polling data to Russia in 2016
