Yesterday (Friday:) the S&P mdke a new all time record high;
The Nasdaq made a new all time record high:
And the Russell 2000 made an new all time record high.
A couple things can be concluded from these new record all time highs.
The market is a forward looking indicator for the economy. Generally looking out
3 to 6 months into the future.
So it can be concluded that the economy will be strong at least 3 months into the future.
Also the market people consider Trump's policies to be responsible for the economic
upturn of the last 1 year and 10 months.
If something should happen to Trump, I can only hope that somehow I can get out before
the wave after wave of computer driven sell programs hit the market.
For market indices to hit new highs just a few days after the verdicts of the 2 law suits
means, as of now, Wall Street has no fear regarding Trump and a crime.
How these verdicts will play out on Main Street, more time will be needed.
But regarding Wall Street, so far, these issues are a non-event.
