I think this is an example of feigned outrage from the left

To be clear, Mo Brooks is an idiot and an insurrectionist, but in this instance the medias coverage of his bombing statement seems to be based more on who he is than what he actually typed (as nearly indecipherable as it may be)

so here's his statement on the bomber and the bomb threat

do you think he is actually offering sympathy/support for the bomber (and people like him) OR is he telling people to focus on elections, not violence

the latter, in my view, but he just delivers it terribly. Its almost not English
