Hydrox... has become the standard of treatment for CV in much of the world.

It has been around for over 50 years.

Dr, Meredith Clement, Infectious Disease, LSU Univ Health Science Center, says doctors and hospitals from the New Orleans area (New Orleans has many CV patients) got together and now use Hydroxy... as their standard of care.

They give it to all patients except those with mild systems and no underlying risk factors for whom they give standard care treatment.

For the rest of the patients, they get Hydroxy...

For the very, very sick they give Hydroxy....but when and if they get it, they hope to use Rendesiver.

Hydroxy is really not dangerous. There is a low possibility for arrhythmia, but the patient is already hooked up to a heart monitor and should it occur the nurse station would spot it and it would be treated, maybe with a pill like Sotolol.
