I was rewatching "The Andromeda Strain"(still watching actually!), when I noticed the directors name - Robert Wise. I was like, "that sounds familiar!" The director of the first Star Trek movie. I googled him, and found something else as well! He was the director of "The Day the Earth Stood Still"! Another title that I noticed was "the Hunchback of Notre Dame." Robert Wise died in 2005. Steven Spielberg has left a great and still growing legacy; but, even he hasn't made three of the top hard SciFi movies!(he makes more fun like movies, which is great for what they are).
