It’s a wonder that the GOP can get even a single Hispanic or African-American vote.
Think about the sentence just handed to down to Manafort and read about this TX woman:

Her sentence is the result of GOP voter suppression efforts in TX
Florida just did away with a similar law, but had to do so by referendum because the GOP has such a stranglehold on the legislature.
The GOP engages in this type of voter suppression because the country has laregely moved on from conservative cultural views so voter suppression is a way to hold on to some power. As is stuffing the judiciary
