Is actually pretty fascinating. If you wonder why the FBI would have been interested in the laptop story and why the FBI is virtually silent now and why the press is not buying the story, it may be because of the following links between the "big guy" email and UAE and Trump/Kushner and Russia

From an Atlantic article discussing the recent UAE-Israel peace deal:

"Every politically connected Saudi knows that Kushner has direct communication lines to Mohammed bin Salman (MbS), the crown prince and de facto ruler of the country, and to Mohammed bin Zayed (MbZ), the crown prince of Abu Dhabi and counterpart to MbS in the UAE."

How does this relate to the recent Hunter Biden BS? The author of the "big guy" email is James Gillar, acting at the time of the email on behalf of UAE state owned, Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (you will see it mentioned in the story below, but here's the link between Gillar and UAE crown prince, Mohammed bin Zayed):

The deal they are discussing is CEFC. CEFC really cm eon the word energy radar with this:

" In 2016, for example, CEFC China Energy established trade deals in Georgia and reached a $680 million agreement -- which has since fallen through -- with a Kazakh state oil and gas firm. The next year, it spent $900 million on a stake in a huge oil field majority-owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Co."

But then comes the NGO investigation, the NGO being based in Trump Tower.

CEFC was owned by a now-missing guy named "Ye". CEFC came crumbling down after its New York- Trump Tower-based NGO was raided by the FBI (note the date, the "big guy" email is Spring 2017):

"Ye’s empire began to crumble on November 18, 2017. On that day, FBI agents arrested Patrick Ho Chi-ping, the man Ye had employed to lead his NGO. Ho was charged with money laundering and violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He is accused of offering $3 million in bribes to the President of Chad, Idriss Deby, and Sam Kutesa, the Ugandan minister of foreign affairs and then president of the United Nations General Assembly. The alleged bribes were made on behalf of a Shanghai-based energy company, which is not explicitly named in the court documents."

The last business deal of CEFC was a shocker in the industry. IT was never finalized because the company was taken down, as described above BUT . . . what was the business deal? (note the date)

"In September 2017, CEFC China Energy announced its most high-profile investment yet. The company was to buy a 14% stake in Russian oil giant Rosneft for $9 billion -- the sort of super spend usually reserved for a state-owned company.

That raised eyebrows, says Laban Yu, at the Jefferies Group investment bank. "I thought, who would give them that kind of money?""

why is ROSNEFT interesting (from the Financial Times)

"We nned to talk about Igor': the Rise of Russia's most powerful oligarch. Igor Sechin was one Putin's secretary. Now, as head of the oil giant Rosneft, he has emerged as one of the country's most formidable political figures." (March 1, 2018)

WHY IS ROSNEFT REALLY INTERSTING?????

Rex Tillerson became Sec of State in February 2017. Tillerson was an advocate for lifting Russian sanctions. This was the concern over Tillerson at the time:

"According to the Washington Post, Tillerson oversaw a project for Exxon on Russia’s Sakhalin island in the nineties, during which time he developed a “working relationship” with current Russian President Vladimir Putin, and, in 2011, Exxon signed a contract a Rosneft, a Moscow-run oil company, to work together in the oil-rich Arctic and Siberia regions. Writes the Post:

After inking the deal in New York, Tillerson and Rosneft chairman and Putin confidant Igor Sechin dined on caviar at the luxury Manhattan restaurant Per Se, according to one account. The next day, they gave oil analysts black pens with the date of the agreement engraved in gold."

(Per Se is about a 5 minute walk from Trump Tower)

Probably a lot more to come on this story
