I actually started Microsoft and sold it to Bill Gates for $1,000 that I spent almost immediately on one really expensive bottle of scotch that I dropped in the parking lot while walking to my car. Hindsight is 20/20 but I think I could have gotten $2,000.
I'll start:~I regret getting an account on Two Bills Drive Forums when I was a 14 year old and saying the most idiotic things ever, essentially becoming a joke (And no, I will not tell you my username on that, if only so I don't have to add one more "I regret"~I regret than Transformers was my favorite movie in 5th grade~I regret being so prickly to other members on Pewter Report as well as TBD~I regret responding to trolls~I regret watching Asalieri2~I regret liking the Panthers when I was in 3rd grade~I regret making Xtranormal videos~I regret not watching more than 2 Seahawks games this season, and that I haven't posted more than 5 topics on the Seahawks fan forum account I have~I regret that I break my promises way too much~I regret I have been lazy academically and need to get back to my once hardworking attitiude
you seem like an honest dude, so I'll say this:all those things you did when you were 14, or 5th grade, or 3rd grade - those are things you were supposed to doin this life, you're supposed to "f*ck up" all the time (by the way, those are really small f*ck ups - 99.99999% of the world would trade their regrets with yours), and hopefully a lot when you're young enough to do it quietly and without hurting anybodythat's how you learn to not do them. you feel the pain, you feel the embarassment, and your brain says "nope, not doing that again" - and you move on a better personbut I do get that in this day and age, with the internet and everybody's eyes are on everybody, it feels hard to not feel so "out there" for everybody to see you and your mistakesbut don't hold it over yourself - your mess ups on an internet forum when you were 14 - nobody actually actually cares - so you shouldn't eitherbut you should remember. and move on. and next time, you will do betterremember, the past is fiction. it happened, but it is not real to you any more, you cannot touch it, taste it, or relive itto you and everyone else, the past is fiction
