in both New York and Georgia.

If news reports are accurate, the New York investigation is very straight forward and focused on well-established crimes of tax evasion and bank fraud. The targets are Trump and Trump Org officials.

By comparison, the Georgia investigation is broader and more novel and filled with intrigue. So far, the net hangs over at least Trump, Lindsey Graham and Rudy Giuliani. Willis is the DA. Her letter says this:

"Willis wrote in the letters to state officials that her office had opened a criminal investigation into "potential violations of Georgia law prohibiting the solicitation of election fraud (Trump and Graham), the making of false statements to state and local government bodies (Giuliani), conspiracy, racketeering, violation of oath of office and any involvement in violence or threats related to the election's administration (Trump and Graham)."

Its no wonder that Graham has doubled down on his outspoken support for Trump.

One of the real wild cards in the GA investigation is the firing (or forced resignation) of US Attorney BJ Pak, a highly-regarded, by the book former US atty who Trump openly called a "Never Trumper" in his infamous call with GA officials. He will make an interesting witness.
