If he had any rapport with the media (he chose not to by repeatedly calling them ‘enemy of the people’) then his “chosen one” comment with the nod to the heavens get passed on as a joke. But instead, it’s part of the case against his sanity
Fascinating to watch because a near novice politician (with a mildly competent staff) could turn things around but will Trump’s ego be his demise? He had a good opportunity to make his case for China (someone had to stand up to them) but he blew it because he threw in the joke (definitely unscripted)
