Trump has had QAnon in the White House strategizing for days now. Now QAnoner Lin Wood is again calling for a boycott of the Georgia election and calling the Republican candidates criminals.
<p>You don't think they ran that by Trump first? I'm guessing they did, since Trump is their god. This is Trumps doing, and I think you'll see that Trump will not repudiate that statement. He may call it "fake news" or something, but he won't get overly upset about it… because he's the one calling the shots!
Trump is sabotaging the runoff because the Republican Party isn't backing his power play. Not McConnell, not Pence. On January 6th a few congressmen are going to protest, but the Trump protest movement will end with a fizzle. Trump isn't going to abide by that, so in retaliation he is taking out the Republican Party.
I think a lot of us have thought Trump is "crazy like a fox", but there is no fox involved. If Trump knew how to play his cards right he'd have been re-elected in a landslide. He was the incumbent. He just needed to show leadership during the pandemic. Instead he has shown childishness and selfishness. Now he continues to go down in flames like the Hindenburg taking the Republicans with him.
It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys who stayed quiet as Trump assaulted our Democracy. And now he's taking them down with him.
