I for some strange reason felt like including the above; for the video that I really meant to share,

Almost anybody know knows anything about WWII know that Hitler's attack on Russia was a primary mistake on Hitler's part. Well, most people would point this one out as the major turning point. I'd point out Hitler's pointing scientists towards psuedo-science and impatience with Rocketry and jet engines. If Hitler had been more science/technologically minded, he could have waited till those two inventions alone, and won the war easily, even with his foray into Russian territory.
This video is unique in showing the Russian view of the German invasion of Russia, and the heroic efforts to turn the tide.
Another major point maybe mentioned implicity and not explicitly here is Russia's view of WWII was to take advantage of it, to set one force against one another to gain more territory. The Chinese and Japanese new this. I remember seeing something about that anywys. Maybe Hitler saw this and felt a little uncomfortable. Always in these situations, it took a joining up of more than one country to feel comfortalbe to try and pull off conquering the war. In WWII, it was Germany bringing in Italy and Japan to try to conquer the world And, here was a major problem; what happens when/if they succeed at the end? How to deal with Italy and Japan . . . and Russia. Obviously, Germany tried to take out Russia before the war even ended.
We see something similar happening today. China and Russia actually tried to take the science/technology lesson, and wait till we put down our arms, and maybe didn't so as much science. For, now they've failed. China, for one might be able to do more science than the U.S., but not more than the whole world combined(U.S. India, Europe, and maybe Africa and South America coming in). Also, China and Russia perhaps see the flaw in joining forces to take out the U.S. as the world's leading superpower; what happens afterwards? They'd have to turn their guns at each other after that!
