Trump is presumably silent on China and Hong Kong
Because he backed himself into a corner on the trade deal and is now at the mercy of China, who likely feels their best move is to hold strong and wait him out. He has taken the US from trading with China to begging China, part of which is ignoring Hong Kong . . . a reality that could impact the world long after he is gone.
