Comparison of google pageviews,Jim Al-Khalili for instance(who's a popular BBC science documentary maker), has 110 followers, but only 923 views as of pointing this out.  I have four followers, but over a hundred thousand views.  And, my google account has only been going for the last few months.  I've got a blog that's been around for like five or six years; it only has ten thousand views.Christopher Sykes, film maker(maker of one of my favorite mathematician documentaries - about Srinivasa Ramanujan), has 75 followers and 23,979 hits; that's not so bad, but still in comparison with little old me, that's still crazy and out of wack.Michael Annasimov, who's a lot more popular than me I would think in terms of futuristic tech(I know the A.I. and nanotech guys don't like me; they don't advertise me; at least they don't stick my blog on their blog scrolls; they have his blog on their blog scrolls), has 1,557 followers|18,344 viewsMax Moore, founder of the Transhumanist movement(yep, that whole Transcendence movie thing) has 891 followers|11,156 viewsNeal Stephenson, writer of Daimond Age(the only book of his I've read; it's one of the best recent sci-fi books about nanotech of my generation for sure) is much more like it; he beats me out appropriately enough, 12,669 followers|303,162 viewsMichael Moore(do you know him?) has 1,930 followers|2,580 viewsI could add some more, but point is, well, I don't hang out with more than one person, how do I have all these hits? This is crazy!  I get some e-mails from facebook people. But, I've only got like 23 people linked up there. I'm not a professor; I'm not a commander, I'm not rich or anything!
