There are 3 primary entities spoken of in Revelations 13. The dragon, the first and second wild beasts... the latter which is called the false prophet.
1. Dragon = Satan the devil.
2. The wild beast with 7 heads and 10 horns = the beast system of governments from Babylon to the United Nations. (had its death stroke healed = league of nations)
3. The beast with horns like a lamb and a tongue like a dragon = United States.

the signs which point to the United States as being the false prophet are 3 fold
1. cause fire to come down from heaven. This is military machinery.
2. makes an image to the wild beast and breathes life into the image. It forces all peoples to worship the image. This is television.
3. creates a mark of the beast whose number is 666 that nobody may buy or sell who did not possess the mark or know the number of its name. This is the United States dollar bill.
