A legit edge opposite of Diaby is what Reddick brings. Kancey should and can reach 10+ sacks easily.
The surprise player that will have 5+ sacks is the rookie Roberts who will be used all over the front seven. Vea and Diaby will hover in the 7-8 sack range. Reddick will be closer to 8-10 sacks. Nelson will have at least 3-4 sacks.

I think you will see more coverage sacks because of the tighter coverage. And the increased pressures should help with more INTs.
Kinda the basis of Bowles defense - if we get pressure/sacks, and the talent is at least good in the secondary, the ILB load is at least balanced (SVD is available for the bulk of the season), and the injury bug doesn’t hit too hard - should be an interesting turn of defensive events!
WT is feeling optimistic!
You fellas do know that Todd "Cover Zero" Bowles is still calling the defensive plays, yes?
Send the corners, drop the ends
This is the way
Kancey! I hope he gets it, I enjoy watching him play and destroy plays.
Its crazy the Bucs haven't drafted a home-grown pass rushing edge guy to be that 10+ sack guy in decades. And we've definitely had opportunities but squandered it on bad decision making from management. Adrian Claiborne over Cam Jordan and Devin White over Josh Allen off the top of my head.

Preach, brother!
7th in scoring, the only stat that matters. That was 2023, right? 19 PPG and a 40% blitz rate . . versus last season 23 PPG on a . . . 35% . . uh . . blitz . . . rate.
Hey, didnt you want to trade for CROSBY?

"Yet if Tampa Bay's defense truly wants to go to the next level and be dangerous in 2025, Reddick needs to lead the way. He signed a one-year, $14 million prove-it deal this offseason with the aim of bringing 10-plus sacks to Tampa Bay due to his experience. At age 31, Reddick is out to prove he's still a dangerous pass rusher.
There's a common denominator between the 2002 Super Bowl Buccaneers team and the team that took home another Lombardi Trophy in 2020. Tampa Bay had a dominant edge rusher. In 2002 it was Simeon Rice. In 2020 it was the dangerous duo of Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaq Barrett. Reddick needs to be that guy if the Bucs truly have Super Bowl aspirations."
