But these are scary times if you are a Bucs fan... Mike Florio who I really think is the best in the business when it comes to breaking this type of stuff down said that he doesn't like this for Jameis from the angle that the girl accusing him has not sued for money nor trying to get fame from this (not yet at least).
She has basically been a ghost, so that may point to her actually being a victim and just trying to speak out against sexual harrassment like many woman recently against high profile men who are allegedly abusing their influence.
So from the NFL's perspective they will have to ask themselves: "Why would she lie about this? She's not looking for $ nor the spotlight. Hmmm..."
Florio ultimately said it's not about justice when it comes to the NFL handling these suspensions, it's about the "shield", whatever makes them look good in the public eye is what drives their decision & the outcome. The truth really doesn't matter to them, it's all about the mirage they want to put up. And the reason why this may be taking so long is because they haven't figured out what outcome gives them the most favorable optic with public relations... Once they piece that together that's when the hammer drops.
