The first kid here is safety Quin Blanding. He's got great size as he is 6'2 and 210 LBS and was also a 5 star recruit coming out of high school. He is a tackling machine as he is Virginias career tackles leader, and also had 10 interceptions including a career high 4 this year. Blanding is a little on the slower side as he clocked in with a 4.63 40 time. Overall I think he can be a really solid day 3 player who has a great IQ for the game and can come in, learn the system, and really develop into a ball hawking hard hitting safety opposite of J Evans. The best part is, we wouldn't have to spend a high draft pick on him, most likely a 4 or 5.
The Second player here is Andrew Brown. 6'4 296 LBS Athletic DE who ran a 5.04 40. Was a gatorade national football player of the year in 2013 coming out of high school and think this guy has a HUGE upside. He went to Virginia and I think he played under some coaches that never really helped him develop fully into the player he is capable of being and think he can make some real noise in the NFL. I am hoping he would be a round 3 type pick and think that he would fit nicely in tampa.
I think these are both some real players who were highly recruited out of high school, but just picked a crappy football school to play at in UVA and played on some REALLY crappy teams the past 4 years, they could be some solid additions though.
