Very stupid for Bridgewater, Manziel, and Carr to not throw. McCarron, Bortles, and Garoppolo just gained ground today. All did very well. Bridgewater is the worst for not even running. Whoever told him that was a good idea needs to be fired. If he'd have ran a 4.4 today and thrown the ball....he'd probably leave this combine as the consensus #1. Instead he allowed Bortles to impress an even Manziel improves his stock with a good 40. Bridgewater did nothing to help himself this week.

I think Bridgewater can get away with not throwing at the Combine because hes got plenty of really good tape. Carr and Manziel should have thrown though. Carr needs to show he can thro deeper than 10yds and Manziel needs to show of the ability to make drops before throwing.Bridgewater should have run though, not really sure I understand why hes not working out

Bridgewater waited until the last minute to decide he wasn't throwing today.....now, just moments before day two starts, he decides he isn't running either. WTF? Go home then. Why'd you even show up?

Probably for the part thats actually important: measurements, medical eval, interviews.

Thats ridiculous. Bridgewater isn't an option QB, he doesn't need to run to prove anything. Even with that said, theres a pro day for that if a team even cares. Manziel improve his stock with a good 40? Cuz teams didn't know he was quick? Cmon

I would agree that interviews are actually the most important part of the combine, but a big question on Teddy is how athletic and fast is he? Why not compete today in all the drills? Even if he isn't throwing, why not do the 40 and the jumps and the 3 cone ect? It was just stupid. He obviously isn't hurt. No reason not to compete with the best of the best today.

Hearing about Jimmy G's footwork and quick release makes me want him more and more and think he could thrive in Tedfords offense, getting him with our second pick or whatever we have to do to get him would make me really happy.

It's hard to imagine us messing up the draft this year. So many good prospects. A Watson/Garoppolo combo would be pretty sick.....just one of many great 1/2 combos.

@nfldraftscout  4mMan, Mike Evans has really killed it here. Gotta think he goes top 13 at this stage.@SI_DougFarrar  3mI thought Odell Beckham was a top 16 guy coming into this. I'm happy with a top 12 designation at this point. Pretty special talent.

The Freak, Freeney,Tuck,Osi,Jason Taylor, Brian Robison, Mathis(not an every down)I believe Barr can be elite

Of those guys, only Taylor and Mathis weighed in lighter at their combines then Barr.  Honestly not sure about Osi.  I can't get a good weight on him coming out and Troy's historical roster's suck.  What I found listed him over 270.  Is it possible he actually played heavier in college then the NFL?  Robison was only 4 pounds heavier though, and none of those guys weighed over 270 (documented, again Osi is a mystery).  You are right though, all of those guys look like they played (at least most of their careers) at or under 270 in the NFL.  Looking at them further disproves the "he'll easily put on weight in the NFL theory" though.  They all play (or are/were listed) less then 10 pounds from their combine weight.  Most played within a couple pounds of what they came out of college as.  Except Mathis, who went to the combine at 235 (I don't know what Tuck is right now, but was 265 coming out).  I can respect your opinion though Mic.  I think you're making the argument that someone can play well at 4-3 defensive end under 270 pounds.  Of those guys you listed, I would say all (except maybe Mathis?) demonstrated better functional strength on the football field in college then Anthony Barr.  I have to concede the point that if I saw Barr holding the edge well against the run (or bull rushing LTs) at UCLA I would be less concerned with what weight he was playing at.  Without that he has then (again imo) to be elite at rushing the passer.  That's where our opinions diverge on Barr.  I don't see him as being a special pass rusher in the NFL that makes you forget or overlook the other aspects of the position.

I personally think he needs to be taught how to play with leverage the way theyr'e playing him at UCLA, he constantly rushes from a 2 point stance which is less than ideal for run stopping and bullrushing, but what entices me is the athleticism to make tackles look silly.I may be digressing but I feel we need a big athletic speed rusher to contain Newton in the future.

I know we don't agree on Glennon Jdoub but still respect your opinion, everyone has their own but I do agree I like Wenning in this group, would love him late.
