If Teddy or Watkins is gone, we need to most definitely trade down.

Any time an organization "needs" to trade down, then they are already at a disadvantage. There are some very legit options at number 7 outside of the ones that you covet. If there is an opportunity to trade down that brings value and a pretty good chance that the Bucs can get a guy THEY covet, then go for it. But, a GM won't be a GM for long if he feels that he "needs" to trade down.

JD can't help himself with the Teddy hate. Lmao And yes, it is hate. Don't kid yourself.

Agreed. I don't see where the leadership thing comes in question when people around Louisville would rave about his leadership and maturity for his age. He weighed in much heavier than thought and really doesn't have any question marks as a quarterback.

We need to either draft Bridgewater, Clowney, Matthews, Robinson, or Watkins at 7 or trade back and take a tight end.

Obviously, I wouldn't want them to trade down unless it brought us value in return.

Yeah all the reports aren't consistent with this lack of leadership thing people drop here.  He's a leader. His weight is good enough. You can question his deep ball but other than that he's got no real flaws.

The problem is with unofficial times and official times people are often comparing one to the other. The official times always come in it seems higher than hand timed -- why they don't have electronic timing a la the Olympics is insane - and in relative times both Manziel and Carr are among the fastest QBs.

Cause I don't share your opinion...it's hate? I said Manziel is a fool for not working out today too and I love Manziel. Don't be an idiot.

Watkins and Beckham both got "adjusted" to 4.43 in the 40 only Cooks stayed under 4.4 officially.

Yeah but both are top 5 in this group.  You need to look at official times from other "fast" QBs. Wilson was a 4.55 guy but was that official or hand timed.

I have been ranting for years about how the hell a multi billion dollar business like the NFL doesn't use an all electronic timing system. It ends with an electronic sensor time, but starts with a guys thumb on a button....and people wanna take this stuff as gospel. I don't think some folks truly grasp the measurement of time one hundredth of a second truly represents. Dude twitches his thumb a little quick or a little late and it's the difference between a 4.40 and a 4.52.  It's just a basic idea and it's become more for entertainment purposes than anything else. I think coaches take their own times and trust it far more than the "official" time anyways.

Oh, I agree. Just find it comical that some questioned Carr's mobility and here they are with near identical 40 times and literally identical 10 yard splits
