5'10" 220lbs is my ideal running back. Low center of gravity but strong like bull.

There is some so of a ratio because a 5'8" 210 or 5'10" 220 are both about the same to me. The bowling ball build works, low, body lean, fewer clean hits.

+1

Guys I'm telling you. Speed in space equals Dri Archer. He's so fudging fast man.

I'm just not a fan of 6ft or taller running backs or.... 200lbs or lighter running backs. 5'8" to 5'10" and 210lbs to 225lbs is ideal IMO. I know some folks like the leaner backs with greater top speed... But that just doesn't do it for me.

In Sochi, that is a supermodel. And the ideal mate. Now, I must break you.

Right. Also... In Sochi, it's also customary for woman to kill their mates after they've had their way with them.

...but how does he get touches?  I think a WR is the guy. Unless this guy is skilled as a slot I can't seem him at his size getting a lot of touches as a RB.

Taller backs might give you that longer run but backs just don't get that many long runs. They have trouble with the longer backs is they tend to not get forward lean.  I want the backs to get me good, positive yards so my down and distance is positive.

He is a Sproles/Bush/DMcluster scatter back. Special teams as well. Guys with that much stop/start/top end have their uses. Wouldn't mind it, but the QB has to be lightning Hopkins on his release, and Brees-accurate. Is Glennon that guy?  If you say you are certain, you a liar.

The Saints and Darren Sproles have shown how to dominate with a midget in space.  I like seeing Dri catch the football down the field with his hands and over his shoulder in his highlight video.  Heard Mayock say he had 39 catches as a junior.  Plus he returns kicks well.  I don't see him as an every down back, but I don't like Doug in the passing game.  Put this kid in on passing downs and he would be murder.  No LB has a chance of covering him.  *How much of an advantage is it for the Saints to just have Sproles on the field on passing downs?  You watch him flare out into the flat and he affects 2/3 defenders in zone coverage.

Sproles is a much thicker player though. He was also an insanely prolific pass catcher in college.  Archer has to be that sort of guy but frankly I'd rather just get a slot WR that I don't have to project about as much.

Barry Sanders. Midget. Not a power runner at all. Tree trunk legs. Much quicker than fast. Sweetness. "Taller", leaner, power in spades. Run you over. Run around you. Dickerson. Taller. Leaner. Speed all day. Decent power. Could outrun gale force winds. Jam Charles. Lean as hell. "Not a midget".  No power. Speed kills. They come in all varieties. Prefer to win with production.

Disagree.  Devine was a swivel hipped jitterbug.  Like Sproles with better straight line speed.  Similar explosion.  Noel did not have near the top gear.  Not even close.

As a KSU fan who was attending college there and watched every game of his college career that is patently false.  Sproles had horrible hands in college.  We had to take him off of returns because he kept muffing shit.  He was very very rarely thrown the ball past the los.  Darren was shaky his first couple seasons with the Chargers catching passes.  It wasn't until he was in the league a few seasons that he started to move his receiving game down the field.  He made himself into a good receiver, that did not come naturally for him.  The limited film I've seen of Dri he looks like a much more natural pass receiver then Darren Sproles was coming out of college.  He was a thicker build guy then Archer for sure.  Darren was never fast.  He was quick and seemed to have hips that were not attached to the rest of his body.

. Archer has more straight line speed but I wouldn't say it isn't even close. Similar players in size, speed, and strength. Archer seems more of a straight line speed type of guy and wants to hit that high gear as quick as he can when Devine used starting and stopping more.
