I'm good with Jared Allen as long as he's no where near top 10 in salary at his position. He made 11.62 million this year. I'd be okay with 6-7 million per year for 2 years on him.

I don't think it changes the Bucs' approach. Problem is it gives the Saints and other rivals breathing room.

Hope this is a smokescreen. Last season at this time we were "interested" in Sean Smith, Brent Grimes, and countless other names. The Dolphins tried to trade for him this past season, and the Cardinals are supposedly very interested as well. Maybe we're just trying to drive his price up for those two teams, while the Bucs are secretly targeting someone else.
Bucs are serious about upgrading the OL. Not a smokescreen but how serious are they? We will find out soon enough.
