Revis and his 16 million wasn't the reason we sucked. They had money to sign more players if they wanted. People just want to **CENSORED** because the team had a horrible season and he's paid.
some people just like to discuss all options.

I guess even the clearly inferior options.

now dont be ignorant. its unknown whether that option could have materialized into a better future.
How about Sean Smith, Michael Bennett, Julian Edelman and Sheldon Richardson plus a couple million left over?
What made you believe they would have targeted that exact 4?They could have had Sean Smith.. PassedBennett... PassedEdelman.. No clue he was available... He's nothing to cry about either.Richardson.. Would have drafted him? Who knows
No idea whether they would target those guys, just like we have no idea that they would've signed Derek Cox if they weren't pursuing Revis.
@AdamSchefter: Seahawks CB Brandon Browner tweeted he has been reinstated by NFL. Now makes him the newest free-agent CB.
Boom. sign Browner.
Boom. sign Browner.
no thanks. that idiot will just get suspended again because he cant avoid using PEDs
He has "Bengals" written all over him.
Browner is turning 30 before the start of the season and has repeatedly been popped for failed drug tests. Why on Earth would anyone want to sign him?
Not only that, Browner very scheme dependent I think.

Wouldn't be expensive and he's one of the best CBs in the league.I'll take him on a one year deal over a lot of the FA CBs out there.

He'll be expensive. He'll just have a clause written into his contract to protect the team in case he fails another drug test. I'd spend the same amount of money to get a younger guy like Shields or Verner. I'd even look at Browner's former Seahawk teammate Walter Thurmond before Browner. Captain Munnerlyn. Nolan Carroll. Chris Cook. Lots of better options than Browner.

Why would he be expensive? Teams wouldn't be throwing him money with one strike away unless he's all world or something.

He's getting as much money as Shields or Verner? Not a chance.
