Raiders sign Woodley to a 2 year deal. The Raiders receive a lot of flack but they have a chance to put it together especially since they signed Tuck too.
Put it together? Woodley got paid and collapsed. Like Tuck the player generally, but what exactly is the plan? Get 2 years of 7-8 sacks from Tuck and then move on? They seem as badly run as they've ever been.
Greg Auman ?@gregauman ·3 mins Bucs are not in play for Seahawks free-agent DB Walter Thurmond, who has visited Jaguars and is visiting 49ers today.
I think Thurmond's price got too high.
As things cool down, I think I am getting ready to turn my sights toward April mini-camp and draft.Would really love to see EDS ink a contract, but other than that think we should roll with what we've got and go after smaller names and draftees to fill things out.On second thought, another WR wouldn't hurt either, but who really fits? What's Preston Parker up to these days?
Read that we have about 15 mil in cap space left
get Dietrich-Smith in here and I'll be ecstatic
Would love to see Mack added at C due to his familiarity working with Tedford and Warhop, though he won't come cheap. Cleveland still has about $39 million in cap space, so it'd be hard to imagine them not matching any offer. EDS would be my 2nd choice. As far as WR goes, there are plenty left that can be signed to team-friendly deals to improve depth like Damian Williams, Jerricho Cotchery, Danario Alexander, Lance Moore, Jerome Simpson, Marc Mariani, Nate Burleson, etc. Not to mention the depth at WR in the draft, which is said to be great. There's also going to be the 2nd wave of FA after the draft as well, so plenty of players to choose from for awhile.

Damien Williams would be a good cheap pick up. Better WR depth than Page, Sheppard, Streeter, or Owusu. I'm not sure why he never took off in Tennessee, but he is a damn good football player and he returns kicks too.

I like some of those WRs as well, and hope we get one of them and a WR in the draft.

Get ecstatic.
What do you guys make of this? Seems way off from what others have been reporting:Albert Breer ?@AlbertBreer 6mAs of this AM, Raiders led the NFL with $59.9M in cap space, followed by Bucs ($46.2M), Browns ($33.7M), Jets ($27.9M) and Bengals ($27.6M).
I'm driving... But in my head I'm doing this! :P
Lovie drops da mic on FA! :) Now get Thurmond in an amazing twist and Jacobi Ford and we are DONE!
