I like Demps , but you can't really count on him at this point.
Heck, lets go with read-option. Glennon would have defense on their heels, ON THEIR HEELS!

Indeed.
Based on the cap space the Bucs have and areas to address before the draft (and the fact the Bucs lack draft picks)....I believe the Bucs will make on big splash signing (DE) and then go with a bunch of low tier FA at WR, OG, TE, LB, CB, and QB.

As of today, Bucs have $15.1 million of cap space. That is 15th most in league...
$15.1M, are you sure?Bucs signed 12 players to 2014 contracts 2 weeks ago, including the eight men who finished 2013 on practice squad:Marc Anthony, Emmett Cleary, Jace Daniels, Everett Dawkins, Bobby Felder, Jason Foster, David Hunter, Patrick Murray, Jordan Rodgers, Patrick Scales, Jake Schum and Tommy Streeter.Bucs cap space should be around $10M?

According to over the cap and based on team's top 51 contracts.
According to over the cap and based on team's top 51 contracts, it's $12,866,139.
Everything I have read says we currently have $10M carrying over and $7M for next year....so $17M total for 2014.
$15,114,903 top 51
according to ESPN Mccown isn't retiring. So he'll probably get a look
The new GM Licht has emphasized value in free agency. Expect a lot of bargain bin specials haha.

Good. I'd rather sign a bunch of role players and draft our key players. Only time FA is worth blowing your load on is when guys like Jackson become FAs.

Hardy and Mack are interesting..but the Bucs don't have the cap space compared to the top 10 teams with cap space.I agree the Bucs will look for value and fill holes @ QB, WR, TE, FB, P, OL, DL, LB, CB, KR/PR.
I agree with the philosophy of drafting your stars and using FA for valuable depth and to fill the occasional hole in the starting line up. You can't just keep handing out a few mega deals every year like we have over the past few years. You overpay for top talent in FA and it isn't a sustainable long term strategy. We did it with VJax, Nicks, Goldson, and Revis because we have drafted so badly that we don't have any of our own players to pay....but if your draft well, spending big on other teams' free agents just doesn't work.
