Ok so I know the season isn't over but I love the draft and we have had a crazy ride this year with injuries and such.
Now I understand, obviously, alot of people are pissed about Martin but to draft Cook in the first is just bonkers to me like I keep hearing. Re-sign Martin to reflect his average over the past few years in which only one of those he's been healthy enough to play more than just a few games.
Now lets look at needs:
OT - Robinson is really the only Tackle worth taking in the first and we would have to trade up quite a bit to get him which means giving up much needed draft picks so that's out. Or we could trade back and grab Ryan Ramcyzk Wisconsin and a 3rd or something of that nature
S - At our position in the middle of the draft order next year Safety might be the best player on the board at either Jamal Adams LSU or Jabrill Peppers Michigan. Personally I like Peppers at 18 or so
WR - Mike Williams Clemson may or may not fall to us but I'm going to go ahead and say it... We've already drafted a Mike Williams at WR and what did he do for us?? Lol.
Or we could trade back and get a Corey Davis or a JuJu Smith-Schuster and an extra late 2nd or 3rd
RB - If we have to cut Martin cause he won't negotiate his contract then well it happens. Sims isn't an every down guy and rodgers isn't a long term solution. Now trading up for Cook makes no sense because we would be giving up like a 2nd rounder to move up 10 spots. But staying where we are or taking a gamble and trading back a little bit we could get Christian McCaffery who I think would be good fit in our young offense but is kind of a luxury pick (what ever happened to Vitale and Hansbrough in this mess of a RB situation this year??).

Id love for Desmond King CB Iowa to fall to us to replace Verner but I think after the combine he moves up into the first.
Julie'n Davenport OT Bucknell, Forrest Lamp OT W. Kentucky, Roderick Johnson OT FSU, or Pat Elflein C/G Ohio State all make sense here.
Rd 3
Depending on The Combine these guys are going to move all over the place but we could see:
Brian Hill RB Wyoming, Kevin King CB Washington, DeDe Westbrook WR OU, or any of the Looong list if DLine prospects here.
Now you have my thoughts and none of them include trading up and losing picks but trading back and gaining some is always an option we should weigh in especially if we are going to do crap like using bonus picks on a kicker.
If I was Licht and drafting tomorrow I would go:
1st - Jabrill Peppers S Michigan
2nd - Roderick Johnson OT FSU
3rd - Dede Westbrook WR OU
