2025 NFL Free Agents - LB
Zack Baun - 1st-Team All Pro in 1st season as off-ball LB. PHI gem.
Tyrel Dodson - 27yo coverage LB. Career-high 107 tackles.
Robert Spillane - Iffy coverage but he'll hit you decent. 158 tackles.
Nick Bolton - KC MLB. Search "Bolton" from SullyFootball on X.
Ernest Jones - 114+ tackles in 3-straight, but traded twice. 25yo.
Jerome Baker - 5.75 tackles per game in 6-straight seasons. 28yo.
Jamien Sherwood - 109 tackles, plus coverage in 1st starting year.
Dre Greenlaw - 120+ tackles in 2022/23. Then torn achilles. 28yo.
E.J. Speed - Coverage liability but had 103 tackles. Now 30yo.
Lavonte David - 6 sacks in Bowles' blitz scheme. Zone coverage.
Bobby Wagner - 95 tackles, 3 sacks. Slow in coverage. 35yo.
Love Nick Bolton, and don't want him leaving KC ever, but he's not very good in coverage. He just doesn't have much feel for it. And he's not athletic enough to cover any RB/TE. But vs. the run or the screen game, he's a beast.

I think Spillane would be a great pickup... Not sure what the asking price would be
KJ Britt not good enough for ya?
Bucs should draft a LB. If Bowles is going to play so much zone you need LBs that can roam. Better off drafting a safety and convert them into LB.

I think we need to do both
Yup Bucs should do both.
Elandon Roberts would fit right in line with what the Bucs do on defense. His experience with the Steelers, Miami, and Patriots makes him a decent fit. Bucs can take a swing at D. Barnes too.

What's funny is I thought he looked decent when he stayed over Devin White but turns out Devin White is just that bad

I wonder what Baun will command? Is this year a fluke?
