i was asking myself the same question last year when we gave michael johnson 40 million dollars for 3 and a half sacks. WHY? the production is right in front of your eyes. you get what you see. 24 tds and 17 interceptions in a subpar conference while needing miracle comebacks every week to beat the likes of boston college and other crap schools. winston is too careless with the ball and when the pocket breaks down (and in tampa with this line it will all the time) throws off his back foot and makes stupid throws. why would you spend a top draft pick on a guy like this especially with all the off field stuff? mariota is the far better choice here. don't give me that the guy is a winner argument either so were tebow and manziel and where has that gotten them in the nfl?
