Firstly, I tweeted for the bucs to bench Josh McCown mid game, lost my temper numerous times throughout the game, and taught my 2 year old niece a new cuss word. I have calmed down since Sunday.I'm going to try my best to not jump to conclusions. There were many shocking things on Sunday. The Bears lost, the Saints defense looked awful, the Eagles almost lost to the Jags. I'm not going to assume anything, but my prediction of the team has changed. I think 3 things need to happen.1) Give Josh McCown a set of scripted plays to run/do whatever it takes to get him calmed down. We saw this in preseason, Josh is terrible at the start of games. He goes crazy and tried to do way to much. When he calmed down, he moved the ball very well and made several clutch plays to move our team down the field. I don't mind Josh. I think Josh can win us games. He just needs to find a way to calm down early in games.2) Bench Doug Martin. Yes I know about his rookie season. Yes I know he was running against the best run defense in the NFL. Yes he is more talented. Rainey just runs HARDER and wants it more. The guy always finishes his runs. I feel like Doug isn't really trying. Don't take him out of the game plan, just bench him and try to wake him up.3) Change your ways Lovie. One thing Bears fans hated about Lovie was how stubborn he was. We are not getting a pass rush. We get a pass rush when we blitz Lavonte. His only blitz set up the near Goldson pick. I like Lovie. He put us in a position to beat this team. I know people are going to think this is giving him an excuse, but Anderson played really well, and so did Olsen and Kelvin. They all made great plays. The defense was their usual self. We still had a chance to win the game. Hopefully we crush the rams and get some momentum going. Go Bucs!
