1 - QB Justin Herbert
*If Herbert makes it past the Chargers, a trade up should be considered. To avoid a bidding war at pick 11 we would pull the trigger at pick 10 with the Browns, sending them OJ Howard and a 6th. Said it before, I would rather start a rookie at 5m/year than Jameis or some over the hill QB at 25/30m. Save that money for guys like Harris and Conklin. Most of you know, I think Herbert is hands down the best QB in this class. Herbert has the ceiling of an Andrew Luck, and a floor close to Ryan Tannehill. Perfect fit for Bruce.
2 - WR Denzel Mims
*With RT and FS addressed in free agency, we have more flexibility to take BPA. While I would like to see a pass rusher or lineman here, but finding a 3rd WR should be a priority with the cupboard being pretty bare after 12 and 13. Mims would be a top 15 player most years, but with all the WRs in this class, he could easily slide into day 2.
3 - RB Cam Akers
*With guys like JK Dobbins, Jonathan Taylor and Deandre Swift possibly waiting until the 2nd round to hear their name called, Akers is a possibility to be available in the 3rd. I like Zack Moss as well, and could go for AJ Dillon in the 4th, but Akers would be hard to pass up at this point.
4- OL Calvin Throckmorton
*Calvin showed versatility at Oregon that teams look for when drafting OL in the mid rounds. He played tackle a lot at Oregon but he likely plays guard at the next level. Would provide competition for Alex Cappa at RG and solid depth in 2020.
I'll stop here as the rest is a crapshoot, but just look at the roster we could have next year.
