With all the deserved hype around Winston/Doug/Kwon/Evans etc.. I think Charlie Sims has flown under the radar, even within our own fanbase. Chuck is really coming into his own and validating his round 3 pick in the 2014 draft. He has the same running style as Martin - explosive [although not a burner], patient, fights through contact. He's averaging 4.7 yards per carry, doing a fantastic job of picking up blitzes when asked to, and of course he gives Jameis a reliable set of hands on much more than just screen plays, as evidenced by his TD on a wheel route in the corner of the endzone with two defenders over top of him against Philly. I had my doubts last season, but at this point I'm more pleased with his effort and production with each passing game. I really like what we have with Martin/Sims. If I'm not mistaken they are the number one duo in the league, at least as far as yardage. Here's a quick look at his stats this year, keep in mind he is a role player and these stats could greatly improve if he was starting.Rushing 87 carries - 409 yards - avg 4.7 [only 0.3 less than dougie] - 2 over 20 - 1 over 40 Receiving30 catches - 329 yards - avg 11.0 - 3tds - 2 over 20 - 1 over 4028 first downs as a roleplayer/backup RBAveraging 6.3 yards every time he touches the ball.
