I still like the idea of Ruggs or Lamb or Jeudy at 14, if the better tackles are gone, but conceding that notion for the moment, who would we take in round 3 to bolster the WR group? Lord knows we need it looking at the depth behind 13 and 14.
Assuming we go OT/RB in rounds 1 and 2, and want to take a WR in round 3, here's who I like.
KJ Hamler from Penn State is intriguing. I have him as kind of a poor man's Henry Ruggs. If Ruggs is the next Tyreek Hill/AB, then Hamler could be the next Kenny Stills/John Brown. Probably goes somewhere in round 2 though.
I love Van Jefferson from Florida. I think he is tailor made for the slot, could be a much more athletic version of Humphries/Edelman. Pretty sure he would be the main return man as well. So long TJ Logan.
I want to look at more tape from Michael Pittman Jr, as I've been tipped off that he could be a Godwin-like steal in round 3. Obviously, he is the son of our former SB winning RB of the same name.
Who do you guys like in round 3?
