I noticed several times in the first half that the 49ers play clock expired and they never threw flags. There was at least another tine in the second half. Not saying it would or wouldn't have made a difference, but they're supposed to throw the flag regardless!
noticed the same thing
i mean the refs were trying to give us the game the last drive so i cant really complain about them for Sundays calls
you can call penalties on damn near every play. The refs basically tried to put it in the endzone for us but we decided to call 2 run plays in a row to settle for a field goal when we got at the 8 yard line.
3rd and 7, SF 47 yard line - 1:18 left - Baker incomplete pass - Penalty on Fred Warner 15 yard facemask
1st and 10, SF 32 yard line - 1:14 left - very next play, short pass for 5 years, roughing the passer penalty on Collins - 15 yards
1st and 10, SF 13 yard line - 1:04 left - third play in a row, illegal use of hands, penalty on Anderson - 5 yards

Those were all the correct calls albeit the facemask was quick.
did you guys also notice the later snaps referenced by OP?
I wondered if there was field clock or something that was different

there is a penalty on every play in football. sometimes they call holding, sometimes they don't. sometime's its roughing the passer, sometime it's not. (Man, i still remember that beautiful "Brady" call against the Falcons in 2022. We were up 21-0; they closed to 21-15 and sacked Brady...called for roughing lol)
said another way, how many times have we seen the Bucs have the same sequence as above and not get one single penalty called?
The Refs were trying their best to help us and we called 2 run plays to play for OT. laughable. The very week prior, we made the same mistake.
This happens every single game and the NFL is good with it. The way to handle it already exists. The NBA has a “shot clock” which basically does the same thing. When it hits ZERO a giant buzzer and light sounds. Pretty easy to tell on a replay if light is on and ball is on the ground not snapped, it’s a violation. The NFL just plain doesn’t want to fix some things

Ok but those calls were correct. They weren't phantom calls.
Yeah unfortunately happens in every game both college and pro
What especially comes to mind recently was the 2 point conversion bengals failed vs Baltimore and lost by 1
they missed a face mask on burrow and a holding on the defense to end the game
The NFL officials miss an average of 687 calls every week. As a previous poster said, there are things the NFL just doesn't want to fix. The poor officiating is one of those things that isn't important to fix. All is good. We're making billions and everyone is happy except the fans. Screw the fans, we don't need them with all the TV money we're making.
Pretty bad reflection on the league
