5 Pictures That Dispel Rumors of Bucs Taking Marcus Mariota Over Jameis Winston Jose Martinez 1h ago  16954792468_2A085Cccb1_O.pngFeb 19, 2015; Indianapolis, INOregon quarterback Marcus Mariota speaks to the media at the 2015 NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium. Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY SportsSo, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now leaning towards taking Marcus Mariota over Jameis Winston, huh? On Friday, Ron Jaworski was on CSN’s Philly Sports Talk where  he discussed how Mariota’s stock is on the rise which could result in the Buccaneers taking him with the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft. Over the last week, there have been reports floating around that the Bucs are still apprehensive about selecting Winston, given his off-the-field issues. But then, why would head coach Lovie Smith so vehemently defend the former Seminoles quarterback at the Combine?According to Jaws, “team owners get involved” at this stage of the game which is understandable, but why would the team’s co-chairman Joel Glazer publicly say that Lovie and general manager Jason Licht had the ownership’s approval, regardless of who they chose. Jaworski goes on to point out that this is the time when general managers become part of the decision-making process. That comment brings us to this post. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. However, all we need here is four words (and images). The Buccaneers prefer Winston. So, without further ado, here are 5 Pictures That Dispel Rumors of Bucs Taking Marcus Mariota Over Jameis Winston.17140993562_86Ca9Eeb0E_O.jpgDo you see that twinkle in Lovie’s eye? It’s the type of look that only comes when you already know that you’re going to select this guy right before your eyes with the No. 1 overall pick.17116628206_30232B53Ee_O.jpgNote to self: Play Jason Licht in poker! He doesn’t hide the poker face that well. Just look at that grin. Or maybe, Licht is just closing his eyes a bit because the future looks too bright. Okay, okay. I’ll just escort myself out.16955035160_Bf86Aeecd4_O.jpgWinston’s infectious personality even got a grin out of offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter during the former Florida State quarterback’s private workout. Look through the photos of Mariota’s session and let us know if you find an image of anyone on the Buccaneers’ coaching staff looking happy. Spoiler alert: You won’t find one.16956390229_9F09Cccd28_O.pngHere is a screenshot of the moment when Vincent Jackson met Winston during his visit to One Buc Place. In their respective behind-the-scenes videoes on Buccaneers.com, Jameis was the one who was seen meeting with one of his potential future wide receivers in V-Jax. Any coincidence that Winston name-drops Jackson weeks later during his one-on-one with Steve Mariucci? Skip ahead to the 3:00 mark.  video16955571268_8Fc59C3048_O.pngHere’s Licht again keeping the poker face at a minimum while discussing Winston. Towards the end of the video, Licht stresses that they are going to let the process play itself out with a huge smile as if saying that they already know who they are going with, but yeah, they’re already leaning in a certain direction.  videolink
