If he is there it’s an obvious choice.
2. Antione Winfield JR. 5’10” 205 FS Minnesota
Edwards flashed but not enough, he will make for quality depth but Winfield is a clear upgrade. A true ballhawk centerfielder that can cover. Pairs well with Whitehead in the box.
3.Curtis Weaver 6’3” 265 3-4 Edge Boise St
When I started this process Weaver was a mid 3rd rounder, now I’m seeing him creep up quite a bit. He can arc, bull rush, close, and finish. He will get snaps rotating and be JPP’s eventual replacement.
4. Cesar Ruiz 6’4” 320 C Michigan
This guy is an absolute unit! He is nimble for his size and can pull and get to second level. Will compete with Cappa and eventually replace Jenson.
5. Isaiah Hodgins 6’4” 209 WR Oregon St.
Tall lanky long strider with a huge wingspan. Known for making acrobatic catches and owns the jump ball. He is a good fit for Winston.
6. James Robinson 5’10 220 RB Illinois St
Very well rounded back. Hands, Vision, Balance, contact, and elusiveness. His gait and style remind me allot of MJD, just a little taller.
7. Markus Bailey 6’1” 240 ILB Perdue
High football IQ, blue collar lunch pail linebacker. Heady player, team captain. He blew out a knee or he would go a little high, but well worth a 7th round flyer.
Never know where day 3 guys actually go, but I think it’s realistic. Maybe Weaver or Ruiz aren’t there but it’s anyone’s guess.
